Professional structural or civil engineering experience, with a focus on bridge design. Registered or eligible for registration as a professional engineer with the Institution of Engineers Rwanda (IER), or equivalent professional registration with a recognized national, regional or international engineering body. Demonstrated experience independently performing and approving structural analysis, design, development of construction drawings and specifications. Experience in vehicular bridge design, ideally gained in an African context. Experience interpreting and applying relevant structural codes and standards. Masters degree preferred.
